The Karnataka handicapped Welfare association has been founded to cater the need of disabled for their education, training and rehabilitation during 1979. Under the objectives, a National Residential School for the deaf was started on 24-10-79 with hardly 10 children on roll. Gradually, the institution developed into multi service unit and at present there are 220 deaf children in bangalore and 100 deaf children at Hassan branch are studying from 1st to 10th standard. The institution also provides training and rehabilitation to them resulting in more than 200 educated hearing handicapped children having assigned with placement. Now they are independent and not burden on their parents, supporting their families independently. Both the schools have been partially assisted financially by Government of India under Deen Dayal Rehabilitation programme by the ministry of Social Justice and enpowerment.

To bridge the gap between the financial help of Government of India and the actual expenditure incurred among more than 300 students, the organisation felt it is necessary to generate its own revenue. Therefore the Karnataka New English School for the general students was also started, It earns revenue and the excess revenue out of it being used for the present position to run the same without profit. Where as the expansion and additional activised according to the need of the hour is hampered because of non availibilty of funds. Therefore the management has got the affiliation from the CBSE for 2 more schools for general students. The establishment of these schools will not help in raising the revenue and also it will become boon to expand the activities to develop the institution in the long run. Therefore we actually are in need of funds as mentioned below for which I am sseking a loan as per the project outline.
